Naturally, all this pent up energy translated into creative energy and I wrote over 15 songs in 3 months on the 3 octave Yamaha keyboard I first learned to play piano on. I put them all together into a song cycle and produced, audio engineer, video engineered (is that a thing?), music directed, and performed in it along with over 50 volunteers of talented friends and new colleagues. Each song was fully orchestrated, recorded in each musician's home. We also received funding from a generous donor to remunerate 3 orchestrators for their work on the show. I created mentorship opportunities and paired orchestrators with mentors. Through the performance we raised money for Maestra.
